The Biopolis featured in CEEBIOS Biomimetics Conference
June 2018
The Biopolis program was recently featured in a biomimetics conference organized by the Centre Européen d'Excellence en Biomimétisme de Senlis, a think tank that promotes biomimetic research in France.
Organized under the banner of "Bio-Inspired Materials | Bio-Inspired Habitats," the conference brought together architects, construction firms, start ups, and scientific researchers. Adam Tanaka, program manager of the Biopolis, gave an overview of the summer school's four year history, including its use of biological metaphors to express urban innovation.
