Allume Paris receives seed funding from the City of Paris!

November 2017

Team Allume Paris recently received € 500 of seed funding from the City of Paris through its Quartiers Libres initiative. Launched in 2015, the Quartiers Libres program offers funding to civic engagement initiatives organized by young Parisians between the ages of 15 and 30.

The Allume Paris team will use the funds to set up a non-profit organization to continue work on their urban exploration-themed app. According to Pietro Desideri, a member of the Allume Paris team and a Masters student in public policy at SciencesPo: "We will use the association as a platform for financing, prototyping and community building. We are thankful to the Mairie for granting us this opportunity!"
