BubbleBox Wins the City of Paris' Talents 2024 Competition in Civic Innovation

January 2018

BubbleBox, a project from the Class of 2017 for a mobile and autonomous hygiene unit providing migrants, refugees, and homeless people access to showers and washing machines, has recently won the City of Paris' Talents 2024 competition. The top prize of € 25,000 will go towards funding the design and prototyping of the BubbleBox module.

Organized in the run-up to the 2024 Olympic Games, the Talents competition offered coaching and logistical support to young Parisians with innovative, socially impactful ideas. Along with 20 other projects — including 2 from the Class of 2017, MapX and Allume Paris — the BubbleBox team attended weekly coaching sessions at SenseCube, a social impact accelerator based in Paris, from September through January.
